    Ritesh Batra’s Dabba (Lunchbox) is selling like hotcakes in the international market. According to a Screen International report, the film has already been sold in 20 territories across the globe. It was already pre-sold to five countries. Major international sales include Artificial Eye (UK) and Happiness (France).
    The film has been sold to North America, France, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Baltic, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Mexico, Central America, Brazil and Ex-Yugoslavia (Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia).

  • French distinction conferred on Anurag Kashyap at Cannes, 20 May 2013

    India is the guest country at the ongoing 66th Cannes Film Festival (15th to 26th May, 2013). The guest country selection coincides with the centennial of Indian cinema, during which Cannes is screening a large number of films and welcoming delegates from India to celebrate the centenary. To mark the occasion, Amitabh Bachchan walked the red carpet for the opening film “The Great Gatsby” and Vidya Balan is a jury member.

  • Cannes Film Festival: India guest country, Vidya Balan on jury, 24 April 2013

    India is the guest country at the 66th Cannes Film Festival, which will take place from 15th to 26th May, 2013 and will celebrate the centennial of Indian cinema.
    Indian actress, Vidya Balan is part of the Cannes Film Festival nine member Jury, comprising Japanese director Naomi Kawase; Australian actress and producer, Nicole Kidman; British scriptwriter, director and producer, Lynne Ramsay; French actor and director Daniel Auteuil; Taiwanese director, producer and scriptwriter, Ang Lee; Romanian scriptwriter, director and producer Cristian Mungiu and Austrian Actor, Christopher Waltz. The jury will be presided over by American director and producer Steven Spielberg.
