25th Nov - 4th Dec: Winter S.T.E.A.M School
This first Indo-French S.T.E.A.M School, designed by Makers’s Asylum, a makerspace in Mumbai, India and the Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity in Paris, France, is a 9-day intensive project-based learning programme.
This first edition gathered 36 participants from engineering, design, architecture, medicine and social entrepreneurship domains.
These Indian and French participants, organized in 6 teams worked together to solve urban challenges based on UN sustainable development goals (education, health, energy, water…) through Design thinking and Rapid Prototyping.
All along the programme, they were mentored by a panel of professional Indian and French experts. They presented their amazing projects to a jury of experts on the last day after which a certificate was delivered to all of them in the presence of the Consul General of Bombay. Airbus, Ubisoft and Imaginarium sponsored this initiative with the support of the Scientific Department of the Embassy.
