28.04 – 01.05.2011 – French participation in the « Golden Maharashtra 2011 » exhibition
On 1st May 2011, Maharashtra will celebrate the completion of 50 years of its creation as an independent State of the Union of India.
The State of Maharashtra has organised an exhibition called “Golden Maharashtra 2011” to showcase the progress of Maharashtra in these 50 years as well as its future plans. It will also mark the end of a series of events organised in 2010 – 11 in celebration of its golden jubilee.
The Consulate General of France in Bombay and the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry are participating in this exhibition by having a common stand at the event shared by the Alliance française de Bombay, the French International School of Bombay, Ubifrance (Economic Mission) and Atout France (French Tourism Office) . The French corporate presence is marked by the French companies “Accor Group” and “Total Oil India Ltd.”. The BNP-Paribas bank is participating in the conference based on Banking, Finance and Insurance on 29th April.
