With 19bn USD investment stock in 2014, French companies are among the leading foreign investors in India. They have a world-renowned expertise in the fields of energy, transport and urban development, which was developed first in French cities and energy sector, then developed worldwide. French companies have been chosen in various cities of India, the latest examples being Kochi and Bangalore metros.
