“Hello Tomorrow” is a network of high-potential scientists, investors and entrepreneurs, founded in 2011 by a group of alumni from prominent institutions from France and the US (HEC, Ecole Centrale, Sciences Po, AgroParisTech, MIT & Stanford). It has now expanded to create interconnected local networks all across the world, in order to push the transformation of innovative technologies into impactful products.

The “Hello Tomorrow Challenge” has been introduced to the Indian public during an event which took place at the French Embassy, in the presence of the Ambassador of France to India H.E. Mr. François Richier.

The second edition of the “Hello Tomorrow Challenge” was launched on December 15th at the Institut Pasteur, in Paris. This international competition aims to promote entrepreneurship projects based on scientific and technological innovations with high potential. The competition is open to any researchers and entrepreneurs under 36, working on interdisciplinary projects, who are invited to submit their proposal until February 28. This challenge, held by Hello Tomorrow and supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, illustrates the mobilization in France in support of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The 30 start-up semi-finalists will benefit, from February to June 2015, from support from experts, access to funding and international media visibility. They will present their projects at the final which will take place on June 25 and 26, 2015, at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris. Several prizes will be awarded, including funding of €15,000 for each the semi-finalists and €100,000 for the winner, summing to total prizes worth €500,000. In order to encourage the best candidates, the initiative is being promoted internationally through networks in major universities and research laboratories. Around 40 events will be organized to that end by the Hello Tomorrow’s “ambassadors” in 50 countries over 5 continents.
