The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) is pleased to announce the opening of its fourth chapter in Bangalore which started from 1st September 2014.

It is headed by Mrs. Amandine Judez as its Regional Director. Our main goals in Bangalore will be to reinforce the Indo-French trade activities by creating a strong network of professionals from varied sectors within the Karnataka Region and organizing events and seminars for the Indo-French business community.


IFCCI also organized its first ever “Team Meet” on 9th September 2014 at Sofitel. All colleagues from four chapters were present for a day filled with knowledge sharing & team building exercises. It was a great opportunity for everyone to meet each other and get to know each other in person and also find solutions and set common goals for each one of us.

IFCCI in partnership with Ernst & Young organized the 11th MD Committee Meeting at the IFCCI boardroom on 16th September 2014. The topic for this meeting was “Attracting & retaining Gen-Y” and was presented by Mr. Ryan Lowe, Partner with People & Organization Advisory Practice, Ernst & Young, India. He was accompanied by Ms. Marita Maier, Head of German & French desk, Ernst & Young. We saw good participation from MDs of various companies like Anmol Sekhri & Co., DSK Legal, Singhania & Co., Sofitel, SKP Group to name a few. The discussion was interesting and engaging and fruitful for everyone present.

IFCCI’s 37th Annual General Meeting was held on 23rd September 2014, at Sofitel. The Chief Guests for the morning were Padma Shri Dr. Swati Piramal- Vice Chairperson of Piramal Enterprises and H.E. Mr. Jean Raphael Peytregnet, Consul General of France in Mumbai.

Mr. Matthieu Lefort, Trade Commissioner at Ubifrance, Bernard Dufresne, Head of Economic Department at the Consulate General of France in Mumbai as well as Rémy Arthus from Greater Paris Chamber of Commerce were also present at the AGM.
