Launch of an Ubisoft gaming lounge at the Alliance Française de Bangalore

On Wednesday, 24th August, H.E. Mr. Ziegler, Ambassador of France, inaugurated a gaming lounge by Ubisoft at the Alliance Française de Bangalore.

An exclusive space reserved for the students of the Alliance Française, it will allow them to enhance their knowledge of the French language through video games played only in French.

The gaming lounge aims to promote the gaming industry in India and the French “know-how” in this field, represented in India by Ubisoft, which established its office in Pune in 2008. It also has an educational purpose - this is the latest trend in pedagogy: using videogames as a support to the learning process.

This initiative particularly makes sense in Bangalore, the city of technology. Further it is an interesting marriage of education with entertainment - students get to learn French language while playing video games!
