Mr Paul Hermelin and Ambassador Richier visit Hyderabad

The Special Representative for Indo-French Economic Relations, Mr Paul HERMELIN and the Ambassador of France to India visit Hyderabad, 1st and 2nd July 2015.

French Government’s Special Representative for the Economic Relations with India, Mr Paul HERMELIN, and the Ambassador of France to India, Mr François RICHIER, payed a two-day visit to Hyderabad, 1st and 2nd July 2015. This prominent visit aimed to expand the scope of Indo-French cooperation, in particular in the sector of urban development.

Mr Paul HERMELIN and Ambassador RICHIER lead a high-profile delegation of 44 Managing Directors of top French companies present in India in key sectors such as urban development, energy, transport and water, who presented their expertise in their respective areas to authorities of the new state of Telangana, as well as to officers of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

This visit to Hyderabad was preceded by a meeting of Mr Hermelin and the French Ambassador with Mr Jayant Sinha, State Secretary of Finance and Mrs Nirmala Sitharaman, State Secretary of Commerce and Industry in the capital.
