In order to help you do away with the monsoon blues, apart from the monthly cultural events, the Alliance Française de Bombay has worked up calendar full of activities and workshops that would keep you occupied throughout the monsoon: cooking workshops, tasting sessions, theatre, hairstyling and make-up workshops!
Theatre Workshop: Sat. 6th and Sat. 20th July, 10 am to 1 pm, Alliance Française auditorium
Christie Bourcq, a French actress with a diploma from the School of stage arts in Paris, will introduce you to theatre techniques. The workshop will be in French emphasizing body language, the image of the actor, improvisation and stage attention. Max. 12 pax. Free of charge

A small bakery-café typically French, specializing in macaroons, Marie-Antoinette was set up three months ago by a young French couple, who decided to travel and take up the challenge to create a company in India. Join us to explore the universe of comics which is considered as the 8th Art in France. Let’s focus on current innovative cartoonists and the impact of comics on film. After an introduction to the techniques of page design, panel composition and illustration techniques, learn what it takes to make your own mini comic! Enjoy the discovery of graphic novels and if you like, practice it to perfection.
