The Ambassador of France visits Bangalore on 24th and 25th August

The Ambassador of France to India, Mr. Alexander Ziegler, visited Bangalore on 24th and 25th August 2016. He was joined by the Regional Heads of the Economic Section of the French Embassy, Mr. Jean-Marc Fenet, and the French Agency for Development (AFD), Mr. Nicolas Fornage. He was accompanied by Mr. François Gautier, Consul General of France in Bengaluru, at all his meetings.

H.E. Mr Alexandre Ziegler, Ambassador of France to India, made his first visit to Bengaluru on 24th and 25th August 2016.

On this occasion, Ambassador Ziegler paid a courtesy call on Shri Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka. He also met officials of the Karnataka Government and dignitaries of the city of Bengaluru from various fields of work, associated with Indo-French collaboration; ranging from politics to culture, from business to social activities.

This sojourn included a visit to the Bangalore Metro, a project which is being financed by France to a tune of 310 million euros.

The French Ambassador and his delegation also visited the office premises of the Indian company Team Indus, designer and developer of the GLXP Moon Mission.
