Visit to Sushila Birla Girls’ School having an Exchange Program with France

The Consul General of France, Mr. Damien Syed, visited the prestigious Sushila Birla Girls’ School in Kolkata on 22 September 2016 on the recently launched Exchange Program with their partner school in Brittany, France. The Consul General was accompanied by Mrs. Magosha Fréquelin, linguistic attaché of the consulate.


The students who recently visited their partner school in Brittany gave an enthusiastic presentation on their stay in France, in the presence of the Principal of the school, Mrs. Sharmila Bose, the Vice-Principal, Mrs. Purnima Ravindran and the two French Teachers from their school.


The students also shared their unforgettable memories in an interactive and fruitful session with the Consul General. They underlined how, more than just linguistic and cultural skills, this exchange has given them a strong link with France and a deep friendship with the French students who will soon visit Kolkata. The Indian students are now very keen to show these French visitors in turn their city and culture and make them feel at home.


The visit of the school was followed by an interesting meeting with the Secretary General of Vidya Mandir Society, Mrs. Rita Bibra.
